Terms of use
Plain terms for a free tool. Using the site means these apply.
What this is
A drawing tool and some writing about commitments. It is not a system of record, not a management or legal service, and nothing on it is professional advice. What you decide to do about a network you have drawn is yours to decide.
What is promised
Very little, honestly. The site is offered free and as it is, without warranty of any kind: it may change, it may be unavailable, and it may stop. Features described today may be different tomorrow.
Your work lives in your browser and can be lost by clearing browser data, by a browser update, or by a fault in the software. Export anything you would mind losing. The file is the real save, which is why the editor says so wherever it can. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for work that goes missing, nor for anything decided on the strength of a drawing made here.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
What is yours
The networks you draw are yours. We neither claim rights in them nor receive them — they never leave your machine.
What is ours
The site, the editor and the writing on it are ours, and remain so.
The writing is meant to be passed on. Quote from it, at any length that serves your point, with attribution and a link back. Reproducing a whole piece elsewhere, or presenting the writing as somebody else's, is not covered by that.
What we ask of you
Use it for lawful purposes. Do not attack the site, try to break into parts of it that are not yours, or automate against it in a way that costs other people the service. Do not use it to store or spread anything unlawful.
The site is not intended for children, and is meant for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
These terms may change; the current version is always here, and the date below says when it last did. If a change matters, it will be said plainly rather than slipped in.
